The Florida Department of Health in Hamilton County works to keep our community prepared in the event of a disaster. We work together with our community leaders, agencies, schools, businesses, and citizens to develop a plan of action should such an event occur.
Special Needs Registry
Special needs shelters are for those with disabilities or who require medical care that exceeds basic first aid. Preregistration is important so emergency responders can ensure space is reserved for those with the greatest need.
